This Privacy Statement applies to IxCheL Art, Crafts & Design (collectively ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ in this Privacy Statement) describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you, as a user of the website, purchase an item from us, contact us, or otherwise use our services through our website IxCHeL.com.au, the ”website” or its related sites and services.

This Privacy Statement came into effect on 15th August 2022. We may need to update it over time but if we do, we will post the updated version on this page and display the updated date at the bottom of this page..

The short answer is: We DO NOT and WILL NOT sell your personal information that you provide to us during the course of your usage of our website. We WILL NOT share your information with anyone other than our partners, in the normal course to fulfill your order, service and/or request.

We do not collect, store or have access to your Paypal or credit card details or have access to your account information of those payment systems.
Since all of your payment information is handled through a very secure external 3rd party server, when customers use a credit card or Paypal payment to make a purchase, the details are transmitted directly to a third party payment processor who arranges the transfer of funds from your bank account to our bank account. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use the Order Information that you provide only in so far as required to fulfill any orders placed through the website (including processing your payment information via the 3rd party provider) or to communicate with you, arrange for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use Order Information to:

Maintain the movement and control of stock.

Communicate with you.

Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information, advertising & newsletters relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our website (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the website, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with 3rd parties only to help us fulfill your orders and requests as described above. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

ADVERTISING

As described above, we and 3rd parties use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. When selected by you we may send Newsletters and Promotional emails or text messages which you can unsubscribe from at any time.

When you place an order through the website, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless - until you ask us to delete this information. We maintain our records in accordance with and to comply with any legal requirements as required from us by any government agency.
